1. The goal of Ideal Democracy Forum would be to usher in the system of Partyless Governance at local, state and national levels. It will never register itself as a political party.
2. The IDF is based on the philosophy of Partyless Governance and is committed to it.
3. It believes in conscience-based governance rather than party-based (or ideology-based) governance.
4. IDF members can be ambassadors for the concept of Partyless system of governance through practical application of its philosophy. The IDF will provide a forum for discussion of issues at the local, state and national levels from an independent, non-party perspective.
PURSUING THE AIMS AND SCOPE OF IDF:
The aims and scope of Ideal Democracy Forum are far-reaching and primarily aimed at ushering in a basic change in the system of governance. However, a change in the system needs for its implementation, a majority of those making the present system work to opt for the new system while at the same time the concept is popularized among the people for whom it is meant.
Hence, along with creating awareness about the need for a new system, we need to convince political parties to make an open commitment to support the partyless system within the elected house, once they come to power. Since a change in system would be popular among people once it is implemented in practice, commitment of a political party towards partyless system would enhance their political fortunes in any election.
Hence, the IDF needs to enlist the support of political parties and their leaders to support the partyless system within the elected house.
